Conclusion

While certainly not a necessity for a Wii owner, anyone who uses their console a lot and finds themselves flying through batteries, something like this is a great idea. The fact that it’s limited to only 2 Wiimotes is a bit of a shame, but the average user isn’t going to be utilising all four Wiimotes all the time. Plus, the short charge time for the Zone Wii Charger does mean that you can always swap them out when they’re done.

The Wii Zone Charger from Speedlink does a pretty good job of saving you money on batteries, and fits in nicely with your lounge while not taking an age to power up your controllers. Not much more you can ask for really.
