Real World Transfer Test

For this real world transfer time I used an online stopwatch to track how long it took for Steam to backup my Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 2 files to the attached pen drive. The total file size was around 11.2GB.

Results Rundown

Well its pretty unanimous, the Hyper X Max 3.0 64GB trounces its relative the Data Traveller G2. It loses in all tests by a reasonable margin, perhaps most in the real world transfer times where the time it took to transfer the 11GB was almost half the time on our comparison drive.

Cost

The data traveller G2 will set you back around £125 when brand new, which seems a bit expensive considering you can get its faster cousin for about the same price.
