Sapphire Edge Mini PC

Other products, Reviews

The Sapphire Edge is a damn impressive little machine. It’s massively compact which allows it to be moved around the house with ease, taken with you or simply used as a bit of a technological ornament considering its pose. It managed to handle basic gaming with complete ease, the same with HD video and networked media.

On top of this, the price isn’t horrendous. In reality this is a netbook without a monitor, but with notebook internals. I think it’s a pretty good compromise. Here’s hoping Sapphire lets me keep this one.

  • Very, very compact
  • Powerful for its size
  • Handles basic gaming and HD video
  • Network streaming is easy and bug free
  • Supports resource hungry OS’

  • Some would say you should just a laptop/netbook
