The mousemat itself looks like it means business, whichever side you look at. The control side has a black Roccat logo surrounded by a reflective blue that really does look good, especially when light bounces off the blue and the speed side a white outline of the Roccat logo.
A big feature of this mousemat is the ability to flip it over to change the response of the mousemat. On one side it’s been designed for speed and on the other, control.
The mousemat itself is made from Aluminium, this means that it’s going to stay rigid and flat pretty much anywhere. I found this quite useful when I was sat on a sofa using the TV as a screen. There’s rubber feet at each corner to ensure it stays where you put it too.
So that’s the mat, lets have a look at the gel wrist rest.
The bottom of the wrist rest has a nice looking, shiney surface which grips to your desk, ensuring it doesn’t wiggle around under your wrist no matter how enthusiatically you throw the mouse around.
