N.B. Load achieved here using Prime95 + 3Dmark Vantage.

The 80 PLUS silver efficiency rated is certainly proved here with the very high PF ratings and lower power consumption readings than other tested power supplies.

Noise

Perhaps the noise could be a little lower than it is with this unit but to be honest it’s not a great deal noisier than most other units and certainly not very noticeable above other case fans. The 140mm fan is definitely a good choice though than a 120mm design allowing the impeller to run at lower speeds.

Cost

Unfortunately, no pricing information was available at the time of review and so we are unable to comment on this factor.

If you’re wondering who made it, look no further than ENERMAX. They were specifically assigned the task of making PSUs for Sapphire. That’s why it’s a great unit, the rails are rock solid and the performance is good ..
