Corsair HX620w

Power supply units

Conclusion

The Corsair HX620 is fantastic. It has some of the most stable rails out there and would be able to run even the most powerful of rigs with no problems whatsoever. However, it is pretty expensive for what on paper, is quite a small wattage by today’s standards. Still, if the extra few pennies aren’t a worry to you, then you would be hard pushed to find a quieter, more stable PSU out there.

I so want to give this an Editor’s choice as it’s rail power distribution really impressed me. However with the high price it’s just not quite perfect enough. Still though, I can give it the prestigious Extreme Award can’t I? :)

I’d like to thank our sponsors Corsair for providing us with this PSU.
