Introduction
Another day, another PSU. This time around it’s the Corsair Gaming Series (GS) 800w unit, featuring four PCIexpress connectors, a clear bladed, quiet fan, 80 PLUS certified and braided cable sleeves. All in all, a pretty bog standard unit with a reasonable ammount of power. While we can’t offer a full test suite here at XSR, we can check that it passes noise/ripple safety tests, so let’s get to it.

Unboxing
Quite fancy packaging for this unit. Part of the gamer series, it has the lighting effects showcased on the front.
No bundled cables as this isn’t modular, but you do get a little pen drive, some added screws and cable ties along with the manual and warranty information.
