Steelseries Kana White

External Features

Here it is, quite a nice looking little beast, isn’t it? The top surface of the mouse features the usual two buttons and mouse wheel and you also get a single DPI (or CPI rather, I’ll use DPI to avoid confusion) selector button. The top is also covered with a glossy white finish which gives a good level of grip and the whole thing feels very well put together, as you’d expect from a high-quality mouse.

The brightness of the mouse wheel illumination can be set through software and can be used to give an indication of which of the two DPI settings possible you’re currently using.

On one side of the mouse we have a button and there’s another located on the other side. I suspect these have been designed so that they’re accessible to you however you prefer to grip the mouse, whether you’re left or right handed.

Turning it over we can see the 3200DPI optical sensor, Steelseries logo and the three UPE Teflon (gaming grade, apparently) feet.

The Kana is also available with a rather fetching black and orange colour scheme.
