The actual speakers arn’t bad looking. They’re matt black, with a small Speedlink badge at the top, and the main body covered by a thin foam coating.

The volume control is big and chunky, again matt black. The dial has a very smooth turn, which you normally find on much more expensive sets.

Beneath the dial is a small headphone 3mm port.

The back of the speakers have a "left speaker" and "right speaker" labeling so you get the correct channels, a small A-OK sticker from some safety organisation in the middle, the power cable which has a USB connector, along with a 3mm line-in connector.

On the base are 4 rubber feet to make sure the speakers don’t slide around the desk when the volume is jacked right up.
