Speedlink Strike FX Wireless Gamepad

On the whole, the Strike FX is a pretty solid bit of kit. The dual Windows/PS3 compatibility is definitely a plus for owners of both and the PS3-style controller means that either way, anyone who has owned and/or used any of the Playstation consoles will feel right at home. Connectivity is pretty stable, with no real disconnection issues, though the idle timeout can be a little short during pauses in play.

All in all, it’s certainly worth a look.

  • Windows and PS3 compatible
  • Familiar ergonomics
  • Good battery life

  • Short idle timeout
  • Slightly large receiver for portability
