Roccat Sense Mat

The actual mat itself, is very striking with sharp blue on black contrasts. It’s made up of two thin layers of material, the top being soft cloth, and the bottom being a rubberized material. The top features a veined designe, similar to that found in the promotional video for the upcoming Roccat gaming mouse.

These veins are light blue with some white highlighting in places. The rest of the mat however, is matt black.

In the bottom right hand corner of the Sense is the Roccat logo, with the name and model of the pad.

If you flip the pad over, you can see the rubberized bottom. This is designed to hold the mat in place during the most strenuous of mouse movements during a frantic game.

The entire mat is very thin indeed, measuring only 1.35 mm in height. While this can reduce the comfort in some pads, it does provide a more stable platform to work on, as the desk’s stability is transferred through the thin cloth better than thicker ones.
