Introduction

Mouse mats generally come in one of two flavours: Soft and cuddly, and hard and strong. The Slamepad is definitely in the latter category, as it’s made of German-crafted aluminium. The Slamepad (literal English translation… slam-pad) comes from German outfit ModMyMachine, who are newcomers to the mouse surface scene.

Let’s see how the Slamepad fares in real world tests… the Germans are a hardcore mousing people, so I expect only the best from MMM. Let’s get into it!

Packaging

The mouse mat can’t really be bent or folded, so the simplest package is the humble envelope.

As you might have spotted in the previous picture, MMM also graciously provided samples of the other nine colour options that are available. They are (from left to right):
