Arctic Cooling P531

Peripherals

Conclusion

What Arctic have produced is a pair of speakers that they have decided belongs strapped to your head for some reason. The complexity of the volume control means that achieving optimum sound quality quickly is out of the question.  I found myself using the P531 as an ad hoc pair of speakers more often than as a traditional headset.

Though they might be branded as “Ultimate Gamer’s Headphones” they are in fact “Ultimately Complicated Headphones”. Being too weighty and doing too much, they could quite easily slow down someone’s game simply by being distracting through their weight or any of the other reasons I’ve outlined in this review.

If you want really good sound quality then the P531 is probably the headset of choice for you, but at the end of the day there are other, cheaper alternatives that are a lot more comfortable.
