Synology DS411 Disk Station Rundown

I know this was a short one, but in reality we’ve seen most of this before. The DS 3.2 suite is a solid software backdrop for some pretty decent hardware, offering a good backup solution.

I would have liked to have tested things in more detail, but due to time constraints and lacking certain hardware pieces I wasn’t able to benchmark as fully as I’d have liked.

This is a feature rundown, not a full review so before buying I’d suggest checking out some others to confirm that this is the product for you.

Setup is mostly very easy
Great software applications
Web connectivity via HTTP and FTP
Software is clean and customisable

You need the right type of router for simple setup
Not cheap by any means
