Physical Layout

The drive itself is glossy and black and features a swirly, hypnosis design sitting on the top panel. There’s also a Plextor logo in the centre. The back features a small mini-USB connector which handles power and data transfer.

The front panel features a Blu-Ray logo too and when popped open, there’s a matt black interior with a recess for the disc.

The front panel has a small eject switch and power LED also.

The base has four rubber spacers to give the drive a bit of ground clearance to prevent scratching as well as keeping it steady.

Just to the side of one of these is a small slide pin that allows you to pop open the drive without the need for power.
