Conclusion

While I know this was hardly the most in-depth reviews out there, hopefully this brief look at the Liteon has given enough of an expose into its features and usage. It’s a quiet Blu-Ray burner that has lightscribe and changable faceplates. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do and gives you the software to make it work out the box. There isn’t a lot not to like.

Pros

Quiet during operation
Changeable faceplates
Lightscribe and writing features

Cons

Blu-Ray is a stop gap storage medium
