Design
The ICZI Micro USB cable has an attractive braided design; our sample came in a fetching bright gold colourway. The cable terminates in aluminium connectors at both ends, which should provide decent long-term survivability.
The cable is 6 feet or 1.8m long, and is delivered with a velcro tie to keep things neat and tidy.
Testing
We used the ICZI Micro USB cable for charging our Galaxy S7 Edge and transferring photos onto a laptop. We faced no issues with either task, including quick charging using a Quick Charge 2.0 adapter. So… job done, really! Well done ICZI, well done us for that intensive journalism.
Wrapping up
If you’re after a micro USB cable, this one from ICZI is pretty reasonable. It feels well-made, and it’s available in a pretty colour. If the price is right, give it a go.
