The GTX 580 is of course quite a beast of a GPU measuring quite a few inches in length. It has a typical black casing and a close up picture of the fire breathing dragon along the shroud.
The fan is the usual coaxial affair with a centralised Zotac logo.
Connection ports are a little cut down compared to some cards we’ve reviewed, with only twin DVI and a mini HDMI port available.
The front end has the power connectors as you’d expect, with a 8pin and single 6pin.
There’s also of course a pair of SLI bridge connectors that allow you to hook up to three of them together for rediculous performance.
Back of the card is very low profile reducing mounting issues.
As far as a size comparison, the GTX 580 is ever so slightly longer than an ATI 5850, but there’s only about a CM in it.
