The installation process is well conceived; the first step is to screw the longer screws into the backplate and attach the rubber washers.

With the backplate in place behind the motherboard, the cooler simply sits atop and is secured by four spring-loaded screws – one in each corner.

This step can be a little fiddly if installing inside a case with other components close by but I had no problem and plenty of space to get to the screws due to the removable motherboard tray in the ATCS-840.
