Installation was pretty easy. All that I needed to do was clean my core, spread on a little bit of heat paste and clip on the HS to the standard motherboard retention module.
I then got the rubber mounts and stuck them on the top of the SI-120.
That’s it really; apart from clipping in the 120mm fan all was done. I decided on using an Akasa Ultra Quiet Amber 120mm fan. This baby is silent and pushes 44.8 CFM @ 18 dB.
The clips are very easy to use, and hold the fan on securely. It’s not going anywhere once clipped into place.
I was surprised by the ease of installation actually. Definite thumbs up to Thermalright and their Light ‘n’ Easy design.
