The fan’s are relatively basic in setup with a translucent blade fitted within a circular frame and mounted on a small metallic stand with rubber feet.
The “front” or exhaust is the side with the plastic grill. Presumably it’s this circular design that aides the focusing of the air flow.
The rubber feet are basic but they do their job well. They cushion the metal frame and help reduce vibration, but they also prevent any scratching of your desktop surface.
The AP121 is simply powered by USB and gets a 1m cable to go with it so you have some reasonable flexibility with the placement of the fan.
