Scythe Mugen 2 Continued

The bottom of the base is protected from dirt and grubby fingerprints by a sticky plastic cover that just fits over the contact area. Revealing this protection displays the shiny plate. The quality of the base plate is often a good indicator to the quality of the cooler and for the Mugen 2 it has a very professional finish: it is ultra shiny and as you can see below perfectly reflects the coin (a feat that I have never seen done so clearly before).

Looking at the 120mm fan which, by the way, Scythe claim is the best fan to use in combination with the structure, is matt black and can produce, at it’s highest 74.25 CFM @ 26.5 dBA.
