The installation of both coolers was a piece of cake using the AMD mounting kit. There were only things that annoyed me while installing the coolers. When installing in a vertical way to allow the push fan to push in the direction of the exhaust fan, the fan clips can barely (Armageddon) or not at all (Super Mega) be attached; this has to be done before installing the cooler, so the fan can be properly attached after the initial installation.

In the case of both coolers, installing horizontally would simply block out the RAM slots, which isn’t an option. For the Super Mega a minor problem arose when installed vertically with the 140mm fan positioned right: the first two RAM slots can only be fitted with standard DIMM’s, without special, larger heatsinks, as this would push the fan up higher on the CPU heatsink resulting in a top height which will allow nearly no case to close the side panel.

Ergo: The installed heatsinks and fan didn’t give me any clearance issues, but would possible do so in smaller cases (note: I am using a large full tower case)
