Box & Bundle

The box for the X-Wing is positively huge – much bigger than the packaging for most other laptop cooling pads. The front depicts the cooler with the touchable front panel all lit up along with the expected marketing jargon and company logos.

The back is a tale of the three F’s: facts, figures and features. The features are each accompanied by a supporting image and are adjacent to a series of diagrams showing the airflow patterns with the cool blue arrows being sucked in and the hot red arrows being emitted.

In terms of accessories, there aren’t too many. Of course we have an instruction manual, well more of a fold out sheet to be honest, and the USB connector cable to power the cooler. Unfortunately, this cable is a set length; perhaps if the cable was integrated into the design or the length was more flexible then you wouldn’t have excess cable dangling behind the cooler but this is only a small issue.

There is also a huge Glacialtech carry bag for the cooler which looks which is a nice inclusion especially as the touchable front panel and other parts of the X-wing are shiny and so this will stop them from being scratched.
