The cRadia Flex

My god this thing is massive! It’s designed to fit up to 20″ of notebook on there, and has a 22cm fan sitting just underneath a metallic grill. The whole thing is of aluminium construction and has a lovely brushed, black finish.

The fan also features the cRadia logo in it’s centre. The fan itself is made up of a clear frame and clear blades which fits well with the black theme of the housing.

At the front of the cooler is a solid aluminium wrist rest topped by a small rubber sleeve to stop you from scraping yourself. It also has the Flex logo and some cRadia information.

The rest is mounted on a hinge which allows it to be tilted up or down. This make it possible to change the angle of the notebook support with the fan while keeping the wrist rest in the same position.

A neat little extra on the front are two hidden drawers (mounted just next to the hinges) which are big enough to store a small screwdriver or 2. However, annoyingly they arn’t big enough for a standard biro; which is definately one of the things I would want to put in there. Both drawers are made of smooth, black plastic.

Next to the hinge joint is the fan controller. This allows the user to customize the fan speed to their tastes; helping them find the perfect balance between performance and noise.
