White Knight – Internals

The inside of the case is also bright white, which makes a nice change over the usual gloomy interiors of desktop chassis.

The inclusion of hard drive cages is welcome, their position in the bottom right allowing for direct cooling from the intake fan.

There are several toolless features around the case, with one being a clip system for the 5.25″ bays. These are nicely simple to use and lock your optical drives in solidly.

On the PCI-brackets you have clips to hold your expansion cards in place. These operate a simple push system to lock and unlock them making it very easy to use.

The 2nd fan grill on the underside has a clip mechanism of it’s own, this one used for attaching another intake fan, though this one has a dust filter on the inside.

All the 5.25″ drive bays have off white dust filters fitted too them also. No dust is getting in this case.

One feature silence enthusiasts will appreciate is that there are rubber gromits in the hard drive cages. This will help reduce any vibrations from the drives, thereby lowering noise ouput.

The motherboard tray has excellent cable management with all it’s many holes and nooks for hiding away the bulk of cabling. It also has a large cutout behind where the CPU goes, allowing for the switching of cooler backing plates without removing the entire board.
