Thermaltake Element G

Internals

Removing the side panel reveals the interior clad in the same coat of black as the exterior and, I’ll be the first to admit, it looks much better than the rough grey metal finish that you are often greeted with inside a PC enclosure.

The drive bays are stacked to the right of the internal chamber with the HDD rack being fully removable (after undoing a couple of screws). A total of seven 3.5” drive bays can be installed using the rack. Solid State Drives (2.5”) are also supported and able to be mounted directly without the added hassle and cost of an adapter.

The three 5.25” drives slot in above the HDD rack and although the front panel doesn’t need to be removed in order to install a DVD drive or other 5.25” device, it can be taken off to reveal the bays and 200mm intake fan.
