SteelSeries Siberia v2 – Natus Vincere edition

Audio, Peripherals

Conclusion

A couple of days of testing, and I’m simply in love with this headset. My only real disagreement with it was the colour scheme and long term comfort, but then again I’m not a fan of yellow and black because it reminds me of bees. I don’t like bees.

The microphone is retractable, flexible and on a very sturdy cable so it doesn’t change position once it has been set. The sound quality is excellent all round, both the mic and actual audio provide clear and crisp feedback. It’s definitely got the actual audio quality to match up to its 5.1 and 7.1 competitors on the gaming-headset-market.

The price is a little bit daunting, but with the Siberia v2 you’re definitely paying that little bit extra for all-round quality. I imagine that the brilliant sturdiness of the whole product will especially come in handy if you suffer from dire cases of nerd rage and frequently throw your headset at the wall.

Then to top everything off, it’s comfortable on the skin – just a bit tight on the head.

If you do decide to pick up a new headset, I definitely recommend considering paying that bit extra for the Siberia v2. You get more than your bang for your buck.

Pros

Comfortable, non-stick ear cups and head-band
Flexible, can be easily stretched and bent
Sturdy, high quality materials means it won’t break easily
Retractable mic, easy to hide and on a flexible cable for positioning

Cons

Slightly pricey at nearly £60
Uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.

These headphones are by far the best I have ever used or owned. I mainly use them for PC gaming. The sound quality is very good and the comfort level is high. You can war them for hours without any discomfort. I highly recommend these for gaming.

Hi. You may want to change the product name of the review to the name of the product: “Siberia” not “Sibera”. The problem with that is that it will break your SEO and the link you sent out will be dead. Still, might want to…

Ha, thanks for spotting that for us. Oops. Fortunately we have smart URLs so it shouldn’t be dead, but won’t help SEO. Should be fixed now.
