Plantronics Gamecom X30

Audio, Peripherals

Conclusion

The Plantronics X30 is a pretty good piece of kit. I still have some reservations about the mounting method but that’s probably something you get used to with extended usage. It’s a nice little cheap headset that’ll give you good sound quality. It could do with a volume boost, but for this money you’d be very lucky to find perfection.

In reality, it’s much better than the official wired headset. No crappy audio adapter and the quality’s higher. Go with this one if your budget is tight.

Pros

Good quality ear bud sound
Great mic clarity
Simple plug and play

Cons

Horrible plastic packaging is a danger to hands
Could do with a bit of a volume boost
A little weird feeling to begin with but less noticeable as time goes on
