Physical Features

When you get yourself in to the horrible packaging, you find that you have what looks like a little in ear secret-service style ear plug fitted with an extended microphone; sorry, this one’s not in your wrist so you can’t look cool.

The colour scheme that Plantronics have gone for is similar to the X40 that we reviewed a couple weeks ago: white body with some grey and green styling. The small grey/white bud in the centre of the ear piece is actually the ear plug which can rotate around its centre point by 180 degrees.

The elongated grey section is what holds the device to your ear; in a bit of a strange way. The green spacer, thing? It’s just styling as far as I can tell.

There’s a small volume slider and mic mute button on a control unit half way down the short cable attached to the base.

It’s also got a clip allowing you to keep things all neat like. Yea.
