Auzentech X-Fi Forte 7.1

Box and Bundle

The front of the box is very visually attractive with lots of colour and style to catch your eye. The centre of focus is a beautifully adorned lady – looking a bit like a Greek God – playing a harp. I suppose the harp is the link to music here with the elegance of the woman reflecting the quality of the music from the card.

The background is a purple-blue with a stand out white title of the product and quite a small product image below this. Other notable aspects on the front are the huge list of logos at the bottom and a series of features of the audio card too.

Overall, the front is stunning and certainly a lot of effort has been made to make it so.

The back, understandably, is toned down quite a bit and has a plain black background giving rise to explanations of several features with accompanying pictures and multi-lingual descriptions.

This outside packaging is not actually the box itself though and instead is just a cover allowing a box to slide out.

The inside box is completely silver and reads ‘Careful, the sound you are about to hear is extremly real’ – nice that the manufacturers have a sense of humour! Along the sides on a more serious note, there are a few diagrams explaining the included cables and ports on the card.

Opening up this box reveals the sound card which is contained within an anti-static bag and laid on a cardboard support; all the accessories are held beneath this.
