The Playon!HD mini 2 is truly that. While it looks about the same as its bigger brother, it is far smaller.

There’s an indented logo in the roof panel.
The layout on the back is a bit more even than in the HD2 1TB with the twin USB 2.0 ports found at the rear. Notice the lack of USB 3.0 slave port and SD card reader.
The underside is almost completely covered with thin, rounded oblong vents to allow air to flow freely through the unit, keeping the internals cool. This allows for it to stay at safe operating temperatures without the need for a fan; this means the HD2 mini stays silent during operation.
