Gaming

As well companies just showing off products at the M-Festival, gaming was obviously a large part of the event.

Most of this was being carried out in the main hall where I34 was taking place. Here, over 2500 gamers were battling it out on games such as COD4, BF2, Unreal Tournament 3 and some other popular titles.

But when the time for some food came into account, for some gaming wasn’t a factor that could be sacrificed. Especially for some of the WoW fans below, who were playing the World of Warcraft trading game.

Also in the M-Festival was a retro gaming section, where all the machines were hacked to be free play. Classic games such as Space Invaders, Donkey Kong and Pacman could be played here. I have to admit, I never saw many people at this section.

As well as retro games, there were also some newer arcade games. One which Andrew and I had more than our fair share of goes on was the Bucking Bronko. No matter how hard I tried, Andrew always beat me at this by a few seconds.

Now moving over to some of the latest games, EA had a stand at the M-Festival where gamers could watch action from some games which are soon to be released. With big comfy bean-bags, many gamers found themselves glued to the nine HD panels and watching game play all day.

Packard Bell had four consoles set-up playing some sort of driving game. Each of the four drivers raced through the streets of Japan as fast as they could do gain that most-wanted gold medal. Poor Andrew, I kicked his arse at every race on this one so he resulted to racing 12 year olds. Haha.
