After the amazing Dark Rock Pro 2, the Shadow Rock Topflow has some serious living up to do. The Shadow Rock Topflow shares quite a few features with the Dark Rock Pro 2 so hopefully it also shares some of the awesome performance as well.SpecificationsOverall dimensions without mounting material (L x W x H), (mm)171 x 137 x 126 Total weight (kg): 0.65 TDP (W): 160 LGA2011 ready: Yes Socket compatibilityIntel: LGA 2011 / 775 / 1155 / 1156 / 1366 / 1150 / AMD: AM2(+) , AM3(+) / 754 / 939 / 940 / FM1 / FM2 Fan model: Shadow Wings PWM 135mm Overall noise level (dB(A)) @ 900/1250/100% (rpm): 9.60 / 15.9 / 24.4Unboxing

Today I’m looking at the Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 2, what a name! I’m very much hoping it lives up to its name and is as quiet as the name would make you think. From just looking at it, it’s clearly quite a beast so let’s get into the review.SpecificationsOverall dimensions without mounting material (L x W x H): 147 x 138 x 166 Total weight (kg): 1.25 TDP (W): 220 LGA2011 ready: Yes Socket compatibility Intel: LGA 775 / LGA 1155 / LGA 1156 / LGA 1366 / LGA 2011 / LGA 1150 AMD: FM2 / FM1, AM2 (+) / AM3 (+) / 754/ 939 / 940 Backplate Mounting: Yes Fan model, number: 1 x SilentWings PWM 120mm, 1 x SilentWings PWM 135mm Anti vibration fan fixing: Yes Overall [...]
Spire is a lesser known CPU cooler manufacturer in the UK, they were founded in 1998 in The Netherlands and today I’m trying the Spire Coolgate out. It’s certainly not the largest cooler I’ve ever had to cram in my case, so hopefully it isn’t the hardest either! Let’s begin.SpecificationsSocket compatibility: Socket 1156 / 1366 / 754 / 940 / 775 / 939 / AM2 / AM3 / AMD FM1 Heat sink: 131×46×153 mm (l × w × h) Fan: 120×120×25 mm Heatpipes: Four 6mm all copper U-shaped direct Fan Bearing: Sleeve bearing Noise level: 10.00~19.00 dBA Air flow: 71.12 CFM Max. So it’s time for my next review. What have we got?
Today it’s the Cooler Master Gemin II SF524. A mixture of high performance and top down cooler. We’ve seen quite a few companies try this style of cooler and they have some real advantages such as being able to cool RAM modules or the VRM area. The disadvantage is that the heat has further to travel along the heatpipes compared to a tower style cooler. Will that affect the results? Only one way to find out.Specifications

Not everyone wants a giant tower CPU cooler. Some people want dual fans and monstrous fin real estate, but some prefer something a bit squatter.
My latest CPU cooler reviews is the Cooler Master GeminII M4, a new low profile cooler. It’s a squat, copper heatpipe sporting, many aluminium finned heatsink fan combo that thanks to its unique shape could cause clearance issues; it’s going to be an interesting review.SpecificationsCPU Socket: Intel® LGA1366/1156/1155/775, AMD FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2 Dimension: (W / H / D) 137 x 122 x 59mm (5.4 x 4.8 x 2.3 inch) Weight: 289g (0.64 lb) Heat Sink Dimensions: 120x 118 x 44 mm (4.7 x 4.6 x 1.7 [...]
Cooler Master have been in the market since 1992 and have produced many CPU air coolers along with lots of other computer related products. The heatpipe tower design has been proven to provide a cost effective and high performing style of air cooler and that’s what I’m going to be looking at today.
The cooler I’m going to be putting through its paces is the smaller version of my last CM cooler review, the Hyper TX3 EVO. Positioned towards the budget segment of the market, we’ll see what kind of value for money the cooler offers and how it performs on an overclocked 6 core CPU.Specifications
