There are a lot of solid gamepads for PCs these days, although most are just repurposed console controllers from the Xbox 360, Xbox One or PlayStation 4. Speedlink’s Strike NX is different; a PC-only wireless gamepad that costs far less than full-fat console alternatives. Let’s see how much controller you can get for £24.

Earlier this year we reviewed NZXT’s excellent HUE+ chromatic case lighting ystem, and now the company has moved to the next logical step: coloured case fans.

The new series is called Aer RGB, and essentially it’s a fan with a ring of LED lighting that runs around the periphery, leaving the centre a plain black. The fans connect to the HUE+ controller and can be programmed through NZXT’s CAM software.

Each fan can be set to a range of colours with different lighting effects, including these options:

Speedlink are a German company who are well known for making budget peripherals, such as mice, keyboards, cables, speakers, controllers and headsets for PCs, laptops and consoles. With the Strike FX, they have created a Playstation-like wireless controller which is compatible with both Windows PCs and the PS3 itself.

Hardcore PC gamers will certainly be no strangers to Razer and their gaming peripherals.
