Apple’s Lightning cables are expensive and break easily, so many iPhone and iPad owners have turned to third-party manufacturers in hope of a better solution. Today we’re looking at one of the most popular choices on Amazon from MFi certified manufacturer iXCC.
The Element II cables are available in multiple packs, depending on your preference for colour (black or white), length (3 feet or 6 feet) and quantity (one or two per pack). Our sample is two six [...]
The iClever BoostCube is pretty well named. It’s a vaguely cuboid mains adapter that will charge your smartphone or tablet with speed. We’ve been sent a sample from iClever, so let’s put it to the test!Design
The BoostCube has two 2.4A USB ports on one side, and a mains plug on the other side. The ports provide 48W in total. 2.4A is sufficient to charge almost all smartphones and tablets at full speed, although experts may note that fast charging technologies such as Qualcomm’s Quick Charge or OnePlus’ DashCharge can offer better performance.
For our review unit, this is a UK plug; US and EU versions also exist. (And the US [...]
The Oittm Charging Stand is an aluminium-wrapped plastic cylinder, nine centimetres across and eleven centimetres tall. The top of the stand has a small square hole, to which one of three charging adapters can be fitted to suit your device.

Today, we’re looking at two gadgets to help you on that point: the Intocircuit 15000mAh Power Bank and the iClever 6-Port Fast USB Desktop Charger. These come courtesy of top Amazon seller Hisgadget.inc. Let’s get started.

It was a modest success, reaching its target of $50,000 and continuing on to raise $161,897 in total.
A year later, the company soon produced a second design, the ChargeKey, which solved the same problem but in a smaller key-shaped space. This was offered for crowd-funding on Indiegogo, where it raised $172,274 of its $50,000 goal.
Another year later, and Nomad have offered both gadgets for me to review. [...]
