Silver Power SP-SS500
Conclusion
While the Silver Power SP-SS500 might not be the best PSU in our compared results, it held its own against units with far more watts than itself, and with better features. It’s got the lowest price by a few notes, and it was capable of powering our pretty hefty test rig, which for a 500w unit is very impressive indeed.
It isn’t the best PSU available, but it’s got some pretty good rails, good noise levels, and it’s sitting in a great price bracket. Check it out.
| Pros | Cons |
| Good 3.3v and 5v rails | 12v is a little loose and not as stable as I’d like |
| Quiet | Only 3 PCI-e connectors |
| Top notch efficiency | |
| Great value for money |
