Coolermaster UCP 1100w

Conclusion

The Coolermaster UCP 1100w PSU, has some great plus points, and unfortunately some nasty minus points also. It has some of the most stable rails ever tested here at XSR and it has a huge wattage capacity with the cabling to handle tri-SLI or crossfire graphics card setups even with 2 CPUs in tow. It also has a pretty high efficiency rating, beating some much smaller units to the punch. However, when considering how great some aspects of this unit are, it must be said that it’s a loud bugger of
a power supply, and unless you have some pretty deep pockets this will seem like quite a considerable purchase. That said, with all it’s connectors, it’s the last PSU you’ll need to buy for many years.

Bottom line, this is one of the best performing PSUs available today, and it will be able to power whatever you throw at it. It won’t do it quietly though, literally or on your bank statement.

Pros Cons
Very tight, stable rails Noisy
Great efficiency Expensive
Large host of cables, can power dual CPU and Tri-GPU setup Not modular
