Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 850w
Be Quiet Dark Power 850w
The actual unit itself is pretty striking also. It doesn’t do so with a matt black, bland exterior though. The Dark Power features a nickel coated plating, with gold trim wherever you look. It’s quite, and I hate to say it, "bling."
The grill covering the fan is gold in colour, with a centralised, gold on black Be Quiet! logo.
The fan underneath though is a stock looking, matt black jobby which seems a little out of place with the OTT styling of the Dark Power. If you look closely, you can see that the surface of the blades are potted slightly; this could allow for excess dust buildup over time.
Along each side is the beveled logo text "Be Quiet!" which is simple, but stylish.
Continuing to turn the unit over we reach the panel on the opposite from the fan. This one has a specification table and your unit’s particular serial number. This is in a nice prominent, easy to read position should you need it for anything.
The rear of the PSU features honeycomb grills which allow for the maximum airflow out the back of the unit to allow for better cooling of the internal components.
The switch on the back is always welcome, and a label proudly displays that this unit features an active PFC which you can read more about here.
