Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 850w
Box and Bundle
The Box for the Dark Power from Be Quiet, is quite striking. It attempts to draw your eye with a minimalist approach, simply adorning the front with a matt black finish and a silver, gradianted band with a pair of yellow eyes and the Dark Power logo.

The back has a little more detail to it, with diagrams, prose on the PSU, a specification table and the myriad of logos from previous BeQuiet reviews.

Bundled along with the Dark Power are some mounting screws – standard, and thumbscrews, two velcro cable ties, 5 traditional plastic ties and 2 x kettle leads; one EU and one UK.

Each one however features horizontally mounted ports for the PSU, which we saw recently on the Coolermaster UCP. This apparently is designed to give extra stability and based on the one instance that we’ve seen of it, we’re willing to say that it has so far at least been only present on quality units. With the inability to test with a standard cable as well as this one, there is no way to make a direct comparison though.
