N.B. Load achieved here using Prime95 + 3Dmark Vantage.
The PF ratings of the CP-850 are clearly very good even reaching 0.98 at full load which indicates a very good efficiency level. The power consumption is a little higher than the other units but it’s not too bad really.
Overall, very decent results – maybe it is a Signature under there after all!
Noise
The 120mm fan doesn’t produce too much sound and is only just noticeable so it isn’t really going to make much of an impact compared to the myriad of fans inside a case.
Cost
The Antec CP-850 seems to be priced around the £100 mark which is pretty damn good for a unit of this calibre, wattage and performance.
