Ultimat Roundup

Conclusion

In reality all 3 pads from Ultimat were finely constructed, look a little bland or quite professional – depending on your stance on such things – and were held nicely in place by the rubbersied coating on the underside. The Breathe is a little thin for my taste, and the Seven is a little too small; and Im afraid I just don’t get on with sweat pooling plastic surfaces like the Solid.

With that in mind, I’d say my overall favourite was the Seven, with the Breathe coming in a close second. However, with all mats clocking up good scores, this conclusion will have to be one you come up with yourself based on your own preferences. If you want thickness over size, then go for the Seven. If size is important, I’d check out the Breathe or Solid, depending on your like or dislike of plastic surfaces. Whichever way you go, you’ll be pleased with the result.

NB. The Breathe had to get a Value award though. £6? Bargain.
