Speedlink Wii Classic Controller

Conclusion

I hate writing conclusions like this, where ultimately it comes down to which one you as the consumer prefer. Ultimately though, I have to make an informed decision. Despite my love for the original Gamecube controllers, I’m going to have to give it to the Speedlink Classic. Despite its shorter and oddly placed cabling, it improves on the original design in terms of comfort and button layout.

It’s not perfect, but if you prerfer this type of control in your Wii games, or want to play older Gamecube titles, I can heartily recommend the Speedlink Classic Gamecube controller.

Pros Cons
Looks clean, fits in with Wii console aesthetics Cabling is a bit too short and placed oddly
Comfortable Z button can be hard to reach if you have small hands
Improved four button layout
