Speedlink Repute

Conclusion

Whilst not being the most stylish or the most innovative mousepad, the Speedlink Repute is a solid performer capable of providing top performance in terms of tracking and precision. Both the top and bottom surfaces are effective in keeping the mat in place and allowing a mouse to glide effortlessly from side to side.

Whilst the Repute’s performance matches any good hard plastic mousing surface, durability and strength are certainly superior for a harder surface. On the other hand, when it comes to comfort and for taking on the move, cloth pads are better suited.

On the whole, I’m sticking with the Q-Pad X-TR as it’s still number one in my eyes but for a cloth pad, the Speedlink Repute isn’t bad at all.
