Speedlink Medusa NX
Box and Bundle
The packaging for the Medusa NX is quite “exciting” with some electricity, zipping through the middle of a picture of the headset. There’s a load of feature buttons plastered all over the place and a small header with the product name in an organge band at the top.
The back of the pack has a load of multilingual features, with some slightly more in-depth specifications. There’s also some feature badges continued across the top.
The side of the pack has an exploded diagram of the internal speaker setup, along with a couple more feature buttons.
Bundled with the headset, you receive a digital manual on a CD, a quick install guide and a foldable bag for the headset to be carried in.
If you don’t have a spare USB port on your PC, you can choose to power the Medusa directly from the mains. To make things easy, Speedlink provides a US cable, and a converter for UK power.
The cables provided allow for a 3mm to phono, and phono to 3mm. Back and forth cabling.

I might be missing something here but is this a review of a headset that fails to mention anything about the quality of the microphone?
The microphone’s quality is excellent. I use this headset myself.
The mick stops working from time to time.
The headset Medusa NX 5.1 usb is Breekbaar
De mijne ging reeds na 2 weken stuk / gebroken
The headset is perfect i have one of those my self and thay are great. Nothing to comply.
Think before you buy. Headset is fragile: mine (USB version, bought 4 months ago) broke down just under the joint above the ear cup. Producer didn’t honor warranty
bad, bad, bad.
A friend of mine, who bought the same headset as me, has some software problems with them all the time.
It would be a great product if it was not so unreliable.
