The red Speedlink Formula laser mouse is vacuum packed in plastic with a cardboard slip, displaying all the necessary features and styling. This type of packaging allows the whole mouse to be seen from the front. Also displayed are a number of features in red circles which a close up of the special storage area for the USB cable.

The back is much more informative and entails a full list of properties in a whole series of languages from Dutch to Russian. The bottom has been moulded into a box but this doesn’t seem to serve any purpose as its empty inside; the only reason I can see for this is so that the packaging stands up on its own.
