Slidamat Platinum R

Conclusion

I came to this review with no real expectations of what the Slidamat would be capable of, as it’s a new material and from an unknown company. However, I was pleasantly surprised, as the Slidamat no only offers a great surface to mouse over in terms of how smooth it’s operation is, but it’s also incredibly accurate; just make sure you’re using one of the recommended mice. Apart from the operational failure on our NZXT Avatar, the only other real problem with it is how it looks; boring and OEM. With a little styling from a flashy company like NOID pad, I think TechBelt could be on to a winner with this Slidamat. I’ll certainly be using it on one of our test platforms, but not with the NZXT that’s for sure.

Pros Cons
Very smooth, slick surface Looks OEM
Very accurate, even with fast movements Doesn’t like certain mice
Good price point
