Roccat Pyra
Conclusion
From originally thinking mobility and gaming was more of an oxymoron than reality, Roccat has managed to change our views a little. The Pyra is a decent mouse; sure it’s not going to compete at the high end but it’s functional, performs relatively well and even with the small size, comfort issues only become apparent over extended gaming sessions.
There’s more plus points for the Roccat rodent too: the wireless connection is good and lag-free, it joins a small group of gaming mice suitable for left-handers and it’s very compact.
Ultimately, for an ‘on the move’ mouse it’s fantastic but the size issue is hard to overcome for most gamers: even the largest mice aren’t exactly large and the performance is a step up. Don’t get me wrong, the Pyra is good but for the best gaming performance, it just can’t cut it.
