Roccat Kulo 7.1 USB Virtual Surround
Again, the headset in its physicality is exactly the same as a standard Kulo. For a full rundown, check the original review here.
The thing that seperates this headset from its stereo counterpart is this little USB sound card. It provides – through some clever means within this plastic shell – a virtual 7.1 surround sound experience.
It’s made up of a short stubby section that takes the headset’s 3.5mm inputs, mic and headphone. The other end is ended with a USB connector for power and data transfer.
The sound card has a bit of a rubbery end that has some flex to it, presumably to make it easier to curve around from the back of a case.
