Ozone Oxid

Packaging

I was quite eager to open my package when it arrived at my front door, there’s something about an un-necessarily large delivery that makes you curious and eager to open it. The Oxid headset has been packaged and displayed incredibly well in a sturdy cardboard box. While the design is a little dull, it’s obvious they’re aiming at the teenage angst audience with their black and red rebellious colour scheme. Surprisingly it doesn’t leave a lot to the imagination either, with very simple and plain images.

The front of the box doesn’t leave much to the imagination, black background and a picture of the Oxid headset. Nothing special. However, with a bit of effort you’ll find that the front of the box is a door secured with some surprisingly strong velcro, behind which is the Ozone Gaming logo and a translucent screen showing off the Oxid headset in all it’s glory.

One side of the box reveals another translucent screen that does little to show off the Oxid headset, whilst the other side manages to tell you exactly what the Oxid headset is.

And last of all, the back of the package that features all those glorious specifications.

Not included in the box were instructions or drivers, much to my dismay.
